Systems Analyst / Research Scientist / Project Manager

bulletMaintained software for existing products in a BASIC dialect.
bulletWrote software to support the activities of the R&D group, including data acquisition, Fourier Transform processing, graphic display, operator interfaces using speech recognition and stylus.
bulletDesigned the application software system for a Fourier Transform - Inductively Coupled Plasma (FT-ICP) instrument and led the development team which created the product on a UNIX platform using Pascal and assembler.
bulletConducted laboratory experiments which helped to define the configuration and capabilities of the FT-ICP instrument.
bulletLed the development and introduction into production of an autotuning torchbox for ICP spectrometers.
bulletDirected the design and integration of electronics that made the SpectraSpan VII instrument compatible with the software used on the 3460, expanding the functionality of the SpectraSpan system and allowing standardization of software across product lines.
